The German-language Worker Esperanto Activists would like to make the International Language Esperanto known to the German-speaking public. Esperanto is neutral and easier to learn than national languages are. That means that it doesn't take years to reach the level needed to converse with others. With a little application, Esperanto basics can be learned during three weekends.
The German-language Worker Esperanto Activists upholds the tradition of the Workers' Esperanto League that was banned by the Nazis in 1933. It associates Esperanto with the ideas of democracy and international understanding, and would like to contribute to their realisation. Esperanto really only makes sense when it is employed internationally. We therefore co-operate with the World Anational League (SAT), which operates worldwide. We also have partner organisations in French language regions, Great Britain, Italy, Japan, Sweden, Spain and South Korea. |
